Vote whether to expel Trout_Bobber

I really, really don't like the idea of expelling anyone from Mountainbuzz, but I think Trout_Bobber justifies this action.

He seems to try to aggravate others. He often ends up in childish arguments. He doesn't make other worthwhile comments. No one has ever been like him on the buzz.

It is up to the Buzz caretakers to decide what action to take, but our vote may sway them.

Yes, Trout_bobber can join again using another ID, but we will recognize him pretty quickly with his style.

In the mean time, I recommend just ignoring his posts. Too bad the ignore user option disappeared from the forum.

He does almost as much damage to the right as Bush. If someone wants to act like an idiot and live in ignorance, let him. Just don't reply to him.

I could care less on the matter, but I think it's safe to say that most of us in the political center (the majority of people on this forum) don't mind the righties dumping their political garbage here. It's just people like you, TB, who have no thoughful arguments and give personal attacks that tends to alienate the people around here.

As usual a different view is seen as a personal attack.

Good idea, lets just ban the problem and it will go away.

I don't agree with trouser bobber in the least, his comments merely attempt to trigger a rise out of individuals. To me, he is just another lonely person attempting to gain attention through seemingly (to him) shocking statements.

However, if the Buzz sensors his comments and/or kicks him off the Buzz then I would leave as well. It is absurd to think that a forum that intents to serve the boating community at large would regulate what messages are and are not allowed to be typed.

As noted above, if you don't like him just ignore him. If you don't agree with him state your reasons why or, again, ignore him.

Expelling him from the Buzz is tantamount to acting like a child who doesn't like the way his guest is playing a game so the child tells the guest to leave.

So, if I am voted off, it will be a clean election a' la 2006, but if the vote is for me to stay, then we will see posts that claim massive election fraud like we heard from the left in 2000 and 2004. I paid off the file clerks at Haliburton-KBR to vote for me, yadda yadda yadda.

Too freakin' funny.

"what's so funny 'bout peace love and understanding?"

And I contribute an Essay a day to that essay thread, you may not agree with the essay posted, but that is beside the point.

I think the dislike for Trout_Bobber is because of his style, not his views.

There are a lot of other conservatives on the buzz who don't cause the same problems.
