Volunteers needed for beer festival in Fredrick 6/6.

We're getting close to our annual Carbon Valley Beer Festival in Fredrick and we need to finalize the volunteer list. The festival runs from 3:00 to 7:00, volunteer shifts are 3 hours, either 2:00 to 5:00 or 4:45 to 7:45.

For donating your time you'll get:

*Free entry to the festival either before or after your shift. If you're signing up for second shift you will need to be very responsible with your sampling. This includes a cool little sampling mug.

*Free "volunteer" t shirt AND a free festival t shirt.

*Free food

Volunteer jobs are super easy. Things like checking ID if you're TIPS trained, running supplies for the brewers, helping patrons with questions, etc. The volunteers have no crowd control or enforcement responsibilities, we have the popo there for that.

PM me if you want to get involved.

What is the name of the Fest? Website?

The larger the river of knowledge the longer the shoreline of wonder.

Colorado Craft Beer Roundup. It's a fundraiser event in it's second year for the Carbon valley Chamber of Commerce.

We're a little behind on marketing.

Here's a better website.

Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce - Home

We have enough volunteers, just need beer drinkers. Paddle Lyons then come on out to Fredrick. We've got over 20 breweries, a mechanical bull a kick ass band and some good eats including the best BBQ this side of the Mississippi. There's a few price points for tickets, PM me for details on late arrival discounts.

Just in case anyone saw this and was planning on attending we have moved the festival to Sept 5th. It'll now coincide with Fredrick's Chainsaws and Chuckwagons event. This will allow us to get better brewer attendance and offer some additional entertainment and food options for the guests. Plus it won't interfere with boating season.
