But you need to differentiate between "our system of government" as designed by the founding fathers and "our system of government" that people demanding more and more from the government have allowed it to become. "Our system of government" has evolved from a republic to an Oligarchy because we allowed (even demanded) the constitution to be ignored.
So if we go back to the original founding fathers' intent, will I be considered a "landowner" and still be able to vote? Or will the bank who actually owns my land get to cast a vote for me and all the other mortgage holders?
Somehow it seems completely plausible that someone like Jamie Diamond or some other banking CEO is trying to figure out a way to support "strict constitutionalists" to make that happen....
