Wow

Rex Grossman had the worst super bowl in NFL Super Bowl History according to ESPN. Talk about twisting the knife.

It's been pretty quiet from all the bears fans latley, finally, maybe you'll make it back in another 22 years. . . and lose.

This has been a glorious week, and I just want to thank you for participating.

Look on the bright side, you always have the Cubs.

here's the difference

as a die-hard bears fan that spent the first 21 years of my life living in chicago- and has since lived in colorado for 9- i'll happily point out the difference between bears fans and bronco fans.

the bears just lost the superbowl. rex played terribly. however, you'd be hard pressed to find bears fans running their mouths saying "the bears suck" and pointing fingers left and right- at coaches, quarterbacks, etc. broncos fans, on the other hand- are the epitome of "seasonal bandwagoners". when the broncos are hot- their fans are on top of the world and talking all the smack they can come up with. until a single loss- or even a lousy game for that matter- at which time the "broncos suck."

keep bringing up the 22 years thing, too- because that's relevant. hell- you might as well go right back to the ORIGIN of the nfl- when the REAL orange and blue team was paving the way (i love those "if god's not a bronco's fan bumper stickers, by the way). i prefer to live in the here and now. a time when my bears made it to the big show- whether or not they lost there- and your beloved donkeys couldnt get past the bengals or the niners- those formidable foes who stood in their way of the playoffs- much less the superbowl.

if you want to stick in the past, however- there is no reason to go back 22 years. lets stay more recent, and remember back to the last time they met head-to-head. at invesco. i can't recall the score, but i can certainly remember celebrating a victory...with all the bears fans who were left at the stadium anyways- the bronco "fans" left midway through the 4th quarter. they were probably grumbling "broncos suck" on their way out.

GO BEARS!

Hey now......no need to label ALL broncos fans. We just expect the playoffs/super bowl every year......so when it doesn't happen we get more pissed than the typical fan, I don't think it means we're bandwagoners.

We beat the Bengals, by the way......it was the niners where we choked.

We'll settle this in next years super bowl!!!!

Oh, I was at that horrible game a couple/few years ago too. Sad sad loss. If I remember correctly, the Bears were a sub 5 hundo team....we were in the playoff hunt. Of course it stung to lose to them at that time!!

Bears have always been my "2nd team".....so I'm happy to see them back to NFC dominance.

Had to chime in one last time for my fellow non-bandwagoner Bronco peeps!!

No shit, I haven't checked next year's schedule. That's GREAT!!! I might have to fly out there for that little schindig. I would sit amongst my Bear's buddies proudly clad in Bronco's gear. Glutton for punishment??? Probably.......but that's why I boat too!!
