Salida Beer Fest and Two Rigdebacks

Is anyone aware of any Salida pet-sitting services. I'll be down at beer-fest on Saturday July 5th and looking for a (temperature) cool place to stash the dogs while I sip frosty goodness with the Mrs. Now, don't get me wrong, the dogs love beer, but their kind isn't welcome in the beer garden.

Are there pet sitters in Salida? A safe&cool fenced yard that two RR's could hang out in?

Hi there, my name is Lindsay and My husband Mac and I own a herb store (and we sell natural pet food too!). We live here in Salida, have a fenced yard right across from the park (where the beer fest takes place). Because of our profession, I am pretty sure there are no pet sitters who allow dogs at their houses (I could be wrong) all of the sitters we know only sit at the owners house. Anyway long story short, you are welcome to use our yard we would just need to keep our dogs at our store (which is no problem). We would also be at beer fest ourselves so there would be no one there, but you could go by the house which is literally 45 feet from beer tents and visit them. The possible deal breaker is in our front yard the fence is only four feet high or so. So if your dogs like to jump fences it could be a problem. They would also be welcome inside the house and you could let them out anytime you want. they would need to be friendly to my cats. The only thing we might ask in return is our beer fest tickets, but we are just happy to help you out so if that seems like more than you want to do we would understand - hope we can be of some help! Lindsay and Mac

Thanks you guys!! We really appreciate the free beer tics and a chance to help you out! We normally would have just done it for nothing but we just paid a million bills this week and got a little tight, so this really helps us out. Your dogs will love the yard (I hope you got the mess. about the short fence). Lots of room to play! One of our dogs Greta is the one that is really defensive in her yard so she will need to hang out at our store - she is always comfy there. But our new puppy (9 mnths old) would love to stay and play if you want her to keep your pups company, but if you think they would be happier by themselves, Indi would have no problem hanging out at the store with her best friend Greta! Just let me know when you are thinking about showing up. We should have some parking for you and just let us know what else you might need. For some reason I am not getting any of my private messages so feel free to call us at our store during the day: 719-539-2090 so we can arrange everthing! Cant wait to meet you both and your little cuties! Sincerely Lindsay
