Samsung Rugby Pro -great for ski season, not sure yet about boating. Seems solid and water proof.
Wrapped with a latex bumper and scratch guard, it is a bit bigger, but still smaller than armoring an Applephone with an Otterbox.

Lifeproof case! Had mine on iPhone last year on westwater. Happened to be recording when my buddy hit rapid sideways and we both went in the drink. iPhone is still working great

Sent from my iPhone using Mountain Buzz

I carry an iPhone with a Lifeproof case. I also have the phone treated with Liquipel. The new Astal Green Jacket has a pocket perfectly sized for the iPhone.

I have been running the Casio mil spec phones for about 6 years now. I've had the smart version for about 18 months. I have never had a failure as far as physical function goes. I "lost" my phone in the floor of my raft for an hour or so under my drybox, so it was submerged for that duration, and it showed no signs of leakage. I keep it pouched in my life jacket and post from the river to Facebook sometimes when I can. I'm not really impressed with the OS at all, it is slow and runs out of memory pretty damn fast. I have a few months to decide if I want to run another one and live without an iphone, or risk the iphone with a Lifeproof/ Otterbox case. I like everything to work without flaw, and I get frustrated easily.

Wishing I was on the river instead of surfing the web...
