Chomsky makes no attempt to hide his political stance, but in what I have read, he has never crossed the dissent line. He just states the facts. If people read into Chomsky's work and believe it to be anti-American, its because our behavior in the world society doesn't accurately reflect mainstream values here in America. Is it okay to burn your neighbors house down because it was remodeled and your taxes are going to rise? Well of course not, but burning down Sadam's house, is just a good idea in the long run, if the damn thing would ever stop smouldering we could move on eh?
