Rack for truck bed w/ cap--with bike trays along sides?

Does anybody know who might make, or where I could find, a truck bed mount rack that would go over a cap/campershell, and would have bike trays along the sides--preferably made of aluminum not steel?

I've seen a few like this around in steel, but the only thing I found on the web are over-the-cab ladder racks which isn't really what I want. If I have to I could mod one of these and just mount some rockymount trays somehow, but I was wondering of there is anything like this available off the shelf or if anybody special manufactures these? It would be for a 2003 Tacoma xcab.

Thanks,

Jay

Not sure but I recently ordered a rack from Proline Products over the web and asked them speciffically about it fitting over the cab they told me it would when I received the rack it did not work, they charged me 150 in shipping, just wanted you to know in case you were thinking of buying from them.

mescalimick has one like that, it's pretty bad-ass. Jungle-gym kinda boat loading. It's stout for sure. He'll probably post if he sees this thread.

call RackAttack down in Cherry Creek, they'll know....

Not sure I'm quite picturing what you're describing, do you want the rack to mount to the truck and go over the cab and shell or do you want it to mount to the shell and go over the cab?

this guy might do a custom for you

Gary at rottiracks@yahoo.com might build you a custom one with whatever dimensions/design you want if you ask; not sure if he can do it all out of aluminum or not but he's made some pretty great ones out of steel. All bomber. I can get you his cell # if he doesn't respond to email.

Osprey--

I want to mount to the bed--I am hoping to avoid drilling in/mounting on the shell--but go over the shell only, not over the cab.

Thanks all for the input--I'll def. check in with rackattack, and rottirack--and I'll try to PM mascalimick.

Jay,

I have a very simple rack for sale that could easily be modified to suit your bike needs. It is made for a standard size bed for a Tacoma or old school SR5. Email me if you are interested and I can send you pictures.

I am having one built for my truck the boats will go over the topper and the bikes will mount over the cab.

I am going through this guy Darrin at A&A Topper Sales in Denver

They have a guy they work with who can build just about any variation of a ladder rack.

There # is 303.237.9872

I'll hopefully have it by the end of next week. If you want once I have I can post a pic. Just let me know if you want to see it?
