I do not usually chime in on the politco site here. I try to take a centrist view of national government. I would truly be a libertarian, if i knew things would get better. Sadly, they will not.

Environment: Screw the Kyoto protocol... ie: drill baby drill, repeat ad hoc
Afganistan: No long draw out explanation: We went there, now were back. We did nothing good for the country and now we have to go back to regain control.
Iraq: Bad juju. We will be there, like it or not for many many years. We had no reason to go. Yet we spent out kids futures on a silly war
Iran: Shrub policy puts US the U.S. as top enemy of Iran. I'd hate the fucking us to if I lived there to.
Wall street is screwed. Should WE be bailing them out. Not sure. What I do know, Is that the goverment does not pay my bills when I'm maxed out on my credit card. I also can't get food stamps, go to the Latino Medical Clinic or get subsidised housing. 700 billion dollars that we will have to pay interest on and probably not see any return. Call it sunk costs.
This new Republican party will screw you in the long run. Conservativism be damned. print more money, send jobs overseas and cut the rich more tax breaks.
McCain is running on a platform of CHANGE, stolen from the other canidate. How can a incumbant party representative run on a change platform. (yea GH, I have O Brother Where art Thou running through my head)
And clearly, Palin as VP was an Ace card on the turn. Do not decieve yourself, It was played with all the politico gusto the McCain campain could muster. You cant tell me that it is not about broad appeal to the mindless drones we have become in this country.
Ps.. my spelling sucks and I could care less... IE kevT... this is kayak forum, not grad school.
