Maybe, instead of pointing fingers at the new administration before its even goten into office, we should examine the absolutely exemplary record of the Republican party in the last eight years. They certainly did cut taxes, and in the process left the funding behind for their "No child left behind" (speaking of teachers). They also un-balanced the budget that Clinton spent 6 years to balance and added a massive amount to an already staggering federal debt. How about the no-bid contracts to Halliburton and Blackwater, which happened to have strong ties to Cheney. Or the $10 billion a month sent to Iraq as cash in duffle bags, without any sort of accountability attached, not even receits. The list goes on and on. Lets also mention, that Bush (the prep-school cheerleader turned tough talking cowboy) began investigating steroid abuse in baseball AFTER he sold his baseball team.
Also, there are no public ethical questions about any of the people you mentioned. The fact that they are involved in Chicago politics doesn't make them automatically corrupt. If you are going to make statements like that, which involve personal reputations, please do back them up.
