Please!!!Cast Your Party Vote - How Does The Buzz Swing?

If you are a staunch supporter of an existing political party, vote that way. If you currently support a party as a "lesser of two evils" decission and would like to vote for a third party if you felt you wouldn't be throwing away your vote, then try to select an alternative party - I hope I list enough alternative parties. If you are truly independent, meaning you evaluate each candidate based on their merits and vote your conscience, then select independent.**note on alternative parties** - there are several, so I tried to pick the most prevalent, totally subjective on my part. If you need assistance on party information, go to - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._United_States

Do you want the party we're affiliated with or the one we'd vote for we didn't live in a de facto two-party state?

Read my post. Looking for your ideal party. Basically, I'm sick of two party politics. I want to see and encourage people to take a look at the other parties. Check out the link to Wikipedia.

Crap, I forgot to put Independent! So, choose something else...if you had to choose, say a primary situation.

Wanted to put independent but I put Republican since my unbiased evaluation tends to result in that way more than any other options (though that's still only 55-60% of the time).

Culture of Corruption: Bush & Cheney the Enron Republica

Why any decent American will not affiliate with republicans:
Voter fraud, election rigging and high crimes and misdemeanors all come to mind at first.

The Republican party is entrenched with corporate interest and special interest lobbyists who are selling off public lands, polluting our lands and waters and forfeiting our Bill of Rights in the name of 'security'. They have already sold off the Clean Water Act and STILL propose drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. While the Democrats are not much better, we have the Repubs ruling the White House, the Senate, AND Congress

$300 BILLION dollars and three years later, we have more bodybags coming home from IRAQ and Afghanistan and our troops are left as referees in a Civil War in a Muslim country. Thanks to genius Repub leadership, Iraq remains a war without a purpose nor plan. "Stay the course" is pure insanity and blind faith in a clueless leader who opened the Pandora's box of wars.

Republicans SAY they are the party of lesser government, yet the Republican regime in power has created the biggest beaurocratic entity in the history of the U.S.

The republican party is currently deeply ensconced with multiple horrific scandals involving breaches of public trust too ghastly to name in a paragraph.

Does the name Tom DeLay mean anything to you?
Does Karl Rove ring a bell. There are many examples of top republican leaders who have been forced from their offices due to being caught lieing to Grand Jurys and scamming tax payers.
How about Charlie Wilson's war? Want to know how we got into so much trouble with fundamentalist Islam? Read up on how we trained the Mujahideen and incited a holy war that has backfired in our faces.
Are you familiar with Jack Abramoff and the multple scandals he is involved in with multiple congressional and senate republicans?

Think before you vote. Do your homework. Be willing to listen to all sides.

The republican party in the old days was known as the party of lesser government and fiscal responsibility.
Times have changed.
The republican party is now known as the culture of corruption and greed.

(addendum)
- I have to agree with blutzski that the Dems have trouble too, but rather than giving up voting due to frustration, I'm looking harder for a good libertarian or democratic candidate.
Someone not corrupted by the deep pocketed lobbying groups.

Kayaker, you are half right. Write that again but this time replace Republican with Democrat in most of the sentences and you'll have the whole story. Let's face it, they both suck and they're probably a whole lot more similar than most people would like to believe.

I'm tempted to take the advice of that AARP commercial and "Don't Vote". I feel like I'm just playing along with their game and justifying the shit they pull.

I voted Libertarian in the poll just based on the 5 minutes I just spent researching it on Wikipedia. I use to consider myself Republican before seeing America - Freedom to Fascism. Being realistic about the world we live in rules out being a Democrat.

Yeah, the Libertarian Party is pretty cool. But then you read the platform and discover that they essentially think we ought to have no foreign relations and would step out of all the treaties we've entered. I sure like a lot about the libertarian ideals, but not having a serious foreign policy in an age of irreversible globalization is flat-out non-thinking stupidity, IMNSHO.

They both suck, like they said in South Park, every year we have to choose between a "Turd Sandwich" and a "Giant Douche". And just think, if Hillary were to run and win we will have been ruled by the same two families for 24years..
