I'm really sorry to hear it will be a life changing experience as you already know. But keep your head up and remember where there is a will there is a way. there are so many people out there that haven't given up on there favorite things to do even tho they become much more complicated. On a another forum I read a story about a guy who loved to snowmobile but lost both of his legs. his answer was to get a Velcro covered seat and had Velcro covers pants. probably not the wisest decision but just goes to show one can improvise and adapt to do the things they love. things may become more complicated and dangerous but don't let it stop you from living. I wish the best of luck to you and send my prayers

sorry i haven't been on much guys, i've been super busy with PT and my family is trying to get donations for like an auction, or a raffle. We have a few sweet donations so far, and a couple options for vendors. Thanks for the support, and i know things are going to work out, my therapist said that 'if i have a problem' contouring my hand to my paddle she'll make me a custom brace. I might have to get a lighter paddle, and sell my AT though because of dexterity issues, but that's way down the road from where i am right now. I got a green jackey, a t-shirt and a couple dvds the other day from a shop, and that was pretty flipping sweet. Thiswhole ordeal while it sucks has shown me that there are still good people out there, and all the people that have donated for my benefit give me another reason to support small buisness. I have good family, good friends what more can someone ask for? And a HUGE thanks to mania helping me out with a flyer, and a website
