OT ESPN on the SEC Go Dawgs

After two weeks of play, the SEC has proven to be the toughest conference in the nation from top to bottom. Georgia, Florida, LSU and Auburn all have the ingredients to make a title run. Tennessee isn't too far removed from those teams, either. The one problem all of these teams share is their schedule: They play each other. A division loss sets the team two games out of the conference race -- making it doubly tough to earn a Bowl Championship Series bid. The winning team in an SEC head-to-head matchup must lose twice for the loser to have a chance at the conference championship.................

This article says it about the SEC. Of the 5 SEC teams that are currently in the AP's top 15, my alma mater's got 4 of them on our regular-season schedule. How many other teams have in-conference schedules like that?

On any given year UGA plays Tenn, FL, SC, AUB, and LSU.. All the teams in the conference have hard sched. But, good thing is that a team like AUB can drop from top 5 to barely in the top 20 in 2 weeks.

It'll be interesting to see how this season ends for all the SEC teams.

If any of the best teams in the SEC (LSU, Auburn, Georgia, or Florida) played in the Big East, they would be in the national championship game. End of story.

PS- the kayaking season is not over!

If you want to win the National Championship you'll have to do one thing...beat the best team in college football, Ohio State!

The Big Ten is the toughest conference. My Niitany Lions will take care of Ohio State like they did last year. This might open the door for some of the weaker SEC teams. Go Vols you mean the girls basketball team right?

Sure they will....just like they did against a highly overrated Notre Dame team, right?

On the Tide, what a tough schedule. They play some really tough non-conference games like Louisiana Monroe and Florida International. The SEC can't say anything until somebody plays some respectable non-conference teams. They essentially have bye weeks when they don't play the SEC. And Duke's no powerhouse either.

Penn State, destroyed by ND.

And about ND being overrated, we'll see what happens against Michigan this weekend.

GO IRISH!!

The SEC is strong and is always strong. However to say the SEC would roll all the time I don't know. Also, Penn State isn't going the distance, not until they get a coach that doesn't gum his food and women. Jo Pa had his day, but it wasn't yesterday. Ohio State is loaded for sure, definitely got a shot at the title. One thing is for sure CU sucks ass. Looking at them play they might be hard pressed to win the RMAC. The good thing about that is that I'm not a CU fan. I love college football.
