Georgia 17 Bama 14 .... Bama held to 60 yards rushing 150 yards passing
If the OL sputters Bama could have a much more balanced game than that.

Its all going to depend on what happings in the trenches. The big IFs - IF the OL can protect JPW long enough for him to throw, and IF the DL can plug holes & get to Stafford and IF the LBs can shut down the quick screens, Bama's got a really good chance of dominating UGA. Lotsa ifs though...

A mediocre Bama team took the Dogs to OT last year. Bama's improved a lot and has brought in some play makers. One other thing that's in the Tide's favor - this will probably be the first time Saban really opens up the playbook on both sides of the ball - we haven't needed to get into it very deep so far this season.

One thing that may backfire is UGA's "Blackout" - Bama players feel like if UGA's players have asked to get out the special uniforms and create a lot of hoopla, the Dogs must think they need to pull out all the stops for this game. Bama's young players are feeling more confident because of that.

24 - 17 Bama.

Ok boys! College football weekend starts tonight!

My picks of the week.

USC @ Oregon St. Though the Beavers have the home field advantage it doesn't mean sh%t. USC with a major blow out.

Minn @ Ohio St. Ohio St. will dominate this one.

Northwestern @ Iowa GO HAWKEYES!!! Still cant believe we lost to Pitt by a point. Our big ten opener at home will be a victory and we will do it by running all over their a$$es

Miss @ Florida Tim is too much, GAYtors will dominate and I hate saying that. The swamp ain't no picnic to play in.

Arkansas @ Texas Sorry SEC but the Big Twelve will stomp all over Arkansas with a huge win for the long horns

Wisconsin @ Michigan Michigan sucks ball, but its not picnic to play on their home turf. Badgers will win but not by much

Tennessee @ Auburn Sorry JBL I don't think your boys are going to pull this one off. Auburn wins by a chin strap

Colorado @ Florida St. GO BUFFS! This will be a very tough game for the buffs and I want to believe they will pull it off but in reality, probably not going to happen

TCU @ OK Sooners are going to show they are a threat for the NC game and rack up some serious points this weekend.

Miss St. @ LSU No contest, LSU dominates.

TWO OF THE BEST GAMES OF THE DAY:

Bama is going to have their hands full with the Dawgs at home. I think Georgia will come out and show the world that they are 4-real and beat Bama, but not by too much. I think it will be within a touchdown if not a field goal. Good luck ERDVM & Andy H.

Illinios @ Penn St. WHITE OUT TIME! Joe Pa will pull off another victory and send juice back to the liquids isle.

Good luck to all you cats this weekend.

That was a great game. Looks like OU, Mizzou, and the SEC are in the driver's seat now.

It looks like the School of the Deaf and Blind just beat the team that throttled The Ohio State University,I will self bitch slap now.PSU may have the better squad, still think we can win.

TCU is no pushover Strokelahoma may lose.I believe Mizzou's next game is at Nebraska Oct.4.There may be 4 or 5 SEC teams in the top 5 , 2 weeks from now ,of course they will beat up on each other.Big 12 has quite a few in the top 25 especially if CU and Neb.move up from 28th and 29th[others receiving votes]

Holy Smokes! Did I call that one wrong or what? Looks like celebrity money can't buy you everything. This looks like last year when you were #1 you were going to get knocked off no matter what team you were playing. This could be another exciting year.
Lets go Buffs! Lets go Hawks!

Lost Dog

Have you seen our missing Junkyard Dog?

This ugly but cuddly puppy did not show up for work at the junk yard tonight. Despite the blackout, the area between hedges was lit up by Alabama Power.

41-30 Roll Tide!

Way to go PSU - you beat a barely ranked team. When you knock off a couple in the top ten you can come back and you can play with the big boys.

I wouldn't call this quiet:
