to the contrary, i'm an SEC fan all the way. i always root for the SEC in an OOC game (except for when UF is playing), but i'm also a realist. from what i've seen so far this year, the SEC doesn't look as strong from top to bottom as it did last year. yeah you have the usual 3 or 4 that are stout and will make a legit run at the NCG, but after that i see a big disparity.
and i've gotten sick of hearing all this "DAWG" talk about this being the year, and how they got screwed last year, etc. i
was an UGA and richt fan, but after hearing all the BS excuses for last year and all the chest thumping this year, i'm starting to put the dawgs in the same league as UF - annoying. so now i say "put up or shut up." they had the chance last year but blew it by losing to UT. they almost blew it last weekend, and they will blow it before the end of the season if i was a betting man. if they can put up and take it to USC at the end of the year, then they'll be back in my camp. but for now, all that dawg talk is just background noise.
