that's been UA's problem for a long time now. we can't seem to seal the deal when it's time, or we're underprepared, or we make some stupid mistake (like two PF's in the 4th quarter) that ends up continuing a drive when our opponent is on the ropes. all things that probably would not happen at a school the likes of UF (did i say that?) or USC or another national caliber school.
consensus seems to be, and i agree, that great talent can come to the UA, and it is somehow squandered away a lot of the time and never really fluorishes to its full potential. case in point would be several wide receivers that are decently ranked coming out of high school but never seem to rise to the occasion when they come to the next level.
that's my $0.02, but it's easy to be a head coach when you're in my position and your ass isn't on the hot seat every sunday following another debacle lost late in the game.
