While I don't put a lot of stock in early season polls, it's kind of fun to see half, yes, half of the AP Poll's top 10
are SEC teams with even the East represented!
Gotta hand it to the Vols - way to represent for the SEC taking NC State - maybe Dooley's got things turning around in Knoxville.
UGA looks pretty good and will probably challenge for the East this year. Bummer to see them fall to Sparty last year.
Kentucky sure stunk it up though.
Bama had a very good scrimmage against Michigan. It was good to see some of the reserves play. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Tide does once they get into their SEC schedule and have some real competition. However I was disappointed they just kept playing and scoring points instead of helping those hapless Michigan players look for a lost contact lens:
Here's a fun game factoid from the Bama-Michigan game: Did you know that up until a Denard Robinson 71-yard pass before halftime, Alabama had more yardage off interceptions than Michigan had total offense?
