I give it to Texas, Austin is a little Island in a sh%t hole
I've always said that the only problem about Austin is that you've gotta drive through Texas to get to it. Its about time the pronghorns played someone. Go Schooners!
OSU contineus their cupcake Big Ten schedule....
Iowa - Wisc: Stevesie, from a look at Iowa's record, they're showing a strong propensity to play up and down to their competition. Iowa's comfortable margins against ISU, PSU, and AZ show they can do well. However, winning squeakers against N. Iowa & Ark State make me think Iowa's got the potential to roll through their regular season schedule and go on to a represent the Big Ten in a Buckeye-esque bitchslapping by an SEC team in the BCS. Sounds like fun to me! Go Hawkeyes! Kick Sparty's butt!
Now to where they play real football:
Ark - UF: Ark may be able to play UF tough for the first half, but even if they can I'd expect them to get out-muscled by UF in the second. Then again, maybe this will be UF's game to drop against an underdog for 2009...
Auburn - KY: I think KY could shoot the Tiggers full of holes like Arky did last weekend.
Ole Miss - UAB: Why am I wasting these precious pixels?
MSU - MTSU: Gehusendteit! This is MSU's chance to roll to 3-4 on the season, if they win, they better enjoy it because it may be their last "W" of the season...
UGA - Vandy: Sorry Matt but I think Vandy's got a chance at this one and ending their SEC losing streak. Hopefully the Dawgs can be their old selves this weekend.
UT - Idle: Enjoy the victory over UGA Ben. Starting Sunday morning, Bama's going to start warming up the welcome mat for Hello Kiffin
and the Vols in Tuscaloosa next weekend.
Bama - Cocks: I heard it said that the Gamecocks are 4 points away from being undefeated this season, and I'm sure "The Ol' Ball Coach"
can still have flashes of brilliance and coach his team to excel beyond their talent level when he's not focused on the fairways at Augusta. That said, Nick Saban's going to make sure Bama's ready to play by hammering these facts home and keeping them focused on this week. Bama's talent and depth will wear the Cocks down in the second half.
PS - Here's a nice resource in case you're out on the river on a Saturday during ball season and want to see a replay of the game online. Pretty good video quality, watching in full screen mode is pretty good. If its coming in poorly due to a slow DSL connection, you can start the video and then hit pause for about 10 minutes to buffer enough for a good playback for the rest of the game.
