Gotta say I'm psyched the Tide came out the Death Valley Saban Hate Bowl with a W tonight. Not as convincing a performance as the Dawgs but we'll take it. With the way we were wearing out Bowser in the first half I hope this this is only the "stayed alive & got lucky" game this season.

If a young Bama team can get out of the SEC alive we may very well be facing TX Tech for all the marbles - it sure looks like a legacy rematch with PSU is out of the picture now. Hopefully an SEC defense can neutralize Tech like the last time Bama played them in '05. Of course, that's assuming we beat a very good FL team in the SECCG and don't get (oh-dear-Gawd-yes-it-could-happen-to-anyone-in-the-SEC) Croomed by MSU.

Maybe we'll get a replay the last SECCG faceoff with the Gators when the Tide goes to Atanta later this year:

Good job pulling one out against UK for the Dawgs, bummer to see Darth Visor make bacon out of the Hogs, and, oh yeah... what happened to Tennessee? Driving up 93 to watch the Bama game I was actually pulling for the Voles against their non-conference underdog ("Wyoming? wait... Wyoming's doing this?!?") - just about as heart-rending as listening to the Great Pumpkin's presser earlier this week. Well, at least they aint' Auburn this year...

Now, now erdvm... don't steal my thunder. The Hawkeyes played pretty good not to mention they have one of the best red zone defences in the nation.. have to admit that.

PSU played like crap and we took advantage of that.

What is overrater is their quarterback.

they played liked crap and Iowa did indeed take advantage of it...their QB stepped it up on tht last drive..kudos to him.

I dont see how our QB is overrated it's not like he's in the hunt for the Heisman...look at his stats pretty damn impressive for his first year...he didn't show up for that game and publicly apologized to the PSU nation...class act.

N doubt that the NC game should have the SEC champ and the Big 12 champ in it...but it was a awesome run for PSU and to have people take a look at the BCS and fix it or go to a playoff system...

Why cant a bowl game with PSU v Bulldogs happen? we crush SEC teams in bowl game, but most SEC teams wont be playing on JAn 1....
