Yeah, Booth it was nice to see the Dawgs romp against LSU today - I was late to go watch the Bama game because I couldn't pull myself away from the Dawgfight in Death Valley. Any team that hangs 50 on the defending National Champs has to be doing something right. Hopefully Bama can repeat GA and FL's beatdowns in a couple of weeks. I guess the cocktail party next week's going to decide who goes to Atlanta in Dec - just maybe the Tide will be there too - we've sure had some fun times playing over in Georgia this season!

And Tress - good win over our Bitches up there in Ohio. I liked the score - kind of has an old-school SEC-type defensive slugfest flavor to it, don't you think?

And JBL - speaking of defensive slugfests, UT's got a pretty good D. The Vols held Bama to the fewest points this season in the first quarter and kept y'all in the game a lot longer than I wanted to see. There were more defenders in Bama's backfield all night than I remember seeing of any opponent all season. The Tide had to play their best second half this fall to get out of Neyland tonight with a W - it was a relief to see they could do it. Lots of good smashmouth SEC ball played tonight - unfortunately the best hit on was on Bama's Maze and had me wondering if he was going to get up (video).

Roll Tide!

It was a defensive battle for sure...a game of field position. After we missed that FG I thought momentum had swung but the D held strong...Nice to have a Bye week...well with some of the teams we played this isn't our first

Not to take anything from Georgia but LSU just got exsposed, I don't believe they are/were as good as their ranking...most of which was done on last years accomplishments.
Good Win for the bulldogs though, should make things interesting because I dont believe both Texas and Bama will win out, just one will/might and where will that leave PSU(if we win out), Bulldogs, OK etc...

GoodWeekend of Football and GO PHILLIES!!!

Yep, the SEC's having a down year right now. Only four teams ranked right now, but two of them in the top 5, and Bama's #1!

I got nothin. The VOLS once again looked like shit. Fulmer's fate is sealed. He's out. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3679810

As for the dogs - that was bad. Really bad. I honestly thought that they'd whip the gaytors.

Pretty funny how Penn State didn't move up to the #2 spot and got jumped by Tex. Tech.

PSU shouldn't move up until one of them takes a loss...time will take care of that...

Yeah, that's not at all unlikely with Bama having LSU on the schedule and then likely the Gators in the SECCG. And TT has OU and OSU on their schedule coming up. And PSU's got... Michigan State! before they get to the conference championship game and play... uh, wait a minute, oh yeah, that's right, they'll play "Idle" while Bama plays Florida.

Now why should PSU move up, again? So JoePa can retire after getting clobbered in the NC game?
