Obama "Our Savior"

I've been watching the DNC very carefully and have yet to hear a single policy or idea behind the "Change" motif. Other than his furthest left voting record as rated by both left/right think tanks, I sure want to here his plans for furthering our socialistic leanings over the recent years.

Will he ever get specific or change spout great slogans. Did anyone else see Ted Kennedy the other night...Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life!

Uh, Ted Kennedy has a BRAIN TUMOR. While he may have played the role of Bluto Blutarski throughout most of his life, I'm pretty sure he's DYING, not drunk at the moment.

So I take it you are a supporter of Senator Grumpy Geriatric Dude. Did he mention that he was once a POW today? Or was it just 97 times yesterday?

What you need to hear from Day 1:

Quote:
In troubled times, it was understood that country comes before party, that in perilous moments mutual concern for the national interest must be the only factor in political judgments. This does not mean that debate within and between the political parties should not be vibrant. Yet what frustrates so many citizens is the lack of bipartisanship in Washington and the way today’s Republican Party has broken with its conservative heritage.

The party that once emphasized individual rights has gravitated in recent years toward regulating values. The party of military responsibility has taken us to war with a country that did not attack us. The party that formerly led the world in arms control has moved to undercut treaties crucial to the defense of the earth. The party that prides itself on conservation has abdicated its responsibilities in the face of global warming. And the party historically anchored in fiscal restraint has nearly doubled the national debt, squandering our precious resources in an undisciplined and unprecedented effort to finance a war with tax cuts.
Jim Leach - Republican - Iowa (former US Representative)

In summation, the Republicans have become douches. I think that statement stands pretty much irrefutable. And I'm a Republican (and probably a douche)

Yes, I support the lesser evil...the moderate democrat vs. the far left socialist. Although he may be old, I do know where he generally stands on the issue.

Although I'm relatively certain that you're just spraying just to get a rise of on the mostly democratic Buzz community, I'll go ahead a give to a link ot the actual policy issue stances that Obama is proposing.

Barack Obama | Change We Can Believe In | Issues

However, I'm 99.7% certain you merely took the opportunity to lamely take a shot at a dying guy. Super classy- like your avatar.

Heliodros, you should join The Libertarian Party. El Flaco, thank I will check this site out to keep track of the evil that will be perpetrated on our country if this slime ball becomes our president. As Geraldine Ferraro says, he wouldn't be here if he were white.

Do you mean where he stands today, or where he stood in, say, 1999, 1995, or some other year when he was his own man politically?

Why is everybody so concerned with me joining a party that reflects my ideology? Why can't my ideology affect the party I want to belong to. I haven't changed, the fucking Republicans have, goddamnit.

I enjoy being a fucked up statistic that the Republicans have to account for. I'm a continuing reminder of their slide into ideological bankruptcy.

Mmm, nothing like watching Bill O'Reilly while drinking a big ol' glass of GOP Kool-Aid, eh? If you're looking for "evil", look no further than Shrub's boss, Dick Cheney.
