Net stalking & Colorado Law

Short version:
Someone who used to be a friend has guessed my e-mail password and has been reading my e-mails without my knowledge or permission for more than a year. Said crazy bitch lives in New Jersey.

How can I legally pursue this? My ultimate goal is to make her husband aware she's a nut-job who is dangerous with a computer.

I called her house about 20 times yesterday trying to reach her husband, and got called by her city’s police department, who said “Stop calling her house and we’ll tell her/her husband to call you, which should happen in the next week.” They were cool about it after listening to my side of the story.

Okay, yeah, I called a bit much because I was angry (just found this out yesterday). I didn’t threaten anything except to talk to her husband. No yelling, no threats (except to make husband aware of this, which will blow up her sick world). I intend to comply with what police asked of me and wait for the next week...

So if she can get the police involved there, what can I do here?
What can I do to alert her service provider that she’s stalking me?

Through my e-mail, crazy bitch stalked friends of mine. I never gave her my e-mail password or permission to use it.

Am I the only one in the universe who watches Star Trek II envying Khan?

Had one of my guides get my e-mail password and e-bay password. Not too much legal strength until he started bidding and buying things with my pay-pal. It was a pretty easy case after that.

I agree with GH change it and move on. The thought of justification and ruining her present situation is often tempting but two wrongs don't make a right. Not that telling her husband is wrong but I'd think it would encourage the "crazy bitch" to keep on and make more of a mess.

As far as star trek goes you might be the only watching period.

Random and off this subject but have you ever read Victor Davis Hanson's blog site? Or Power Line? Just curious. I really enjoy your writing and you gave me some food for thought when ripping on Casper Mike and discussing the war. It's info that the main-streams will not discuss.

Good luck with the "crazy bitch"

Wrath of Khan is one of the best movies EVA!

As for Crazy Queen, as I now refer to her - I got a hold of her husband, who called me an asshole, but in the same sentence he called her an asshole. I am letting it go. I let a lot of her friends know, via the net, and I've made her life unpleasant in the short term at least.

Ironically, perhaps, a cop from her home town in Jersey called me to ask me to stop calling them. Well, after a couple days, I started thinking perhaps he wasn't an actual cop - turns out he was. But when I asked him for a copy of the police report he said he was making regarding the incident, he never responded, and the next day I was able to reach her husband.

I read VDH occasionally via National Review Online, though not much anymore. Like most of NRO most of the time, they are shills for the Bush administration. I used to like VDH, but he's shown unforgivable bias, and contradicted himself several times over regarding the War in Iraq.

If you're interested in reading the best conservative thinker *I* know, read The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan He's a gay Englishman writing for what I feel real conservatism is about, and like me, he started out in favor of the Iraq war and changed course (indeed, his arguments pursuaded me). Also a very funny writer and deep - I can't recommend him highly enough.

One last Khan quote:
"I've done far worse than kill you, Kirk. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you."
