Wrath of Khan is one of the best movies EVA!
As for Crazy Queen, as I now refer to her - I got a hold of her husband, who called me an asshole, but in the same sentence he called her an asshole. I am letting it go. I let a lot of her friends know, via the net, and I've made her life unpleasant in the short term at least.
Ironically, perhaps, a cop from her home town in Jersey called me to ask me to stop calling them. Well, after a couple days, I started thinking perhaps he wasn't an actual cop - turns out he was. But when I asked him for a copy of the police report he said he was making regarding the incident, he never responded, and the next day I was able to reach her husband.
I read VDH occasionally via National Review Online, though not much anymore. Like most of NRO most of the time, they are shills for the Bush administration. I used to like VDH, but he's shown unforgivable bias, and contradicted himself several times over regarding the War in Iraq.
If you're interested in reading the best conservative thinker *I* know, read
The Daily Dish | By Andrew Sullivan He's a gay Englishman writing for what I feel real conservatism is about, and like me, he started out in favor of the Iraq war and changed course (indeed, his arguments pursuaded me). Also a very funny writer and deep - I can't recommend him highly enough.
One last Khan quote:
"I've done far worse than kill you, Kirk. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you."
