Moving to Golden area.

Moving to golden to be closer to school, work and play. Does anybody know of, or have a room for rent? If so give me a call or drop me a PM.

I would drive around town and look for "For Rent" signs if I were you. It seems like there are a lot of vacancies. There are a lot of signs in my area (south of downtown).

I would start at the parking lot of the play park and move out from there. There are a ton of apartments right on that street.

Another possibility is the Golden Transcript. My first place in Golden was a little rock shack apartment behind a house near the play park. An old lady advertised it in the Transcript and I got it for $405/month. I could walk to the play park with my boat. That was a few years ago, but I know you can still find deals like that, if you don't mind living in a shithole apartment.

If you're looking for a place that's cheap ($350ish/mo.) and prime access to town (2 blocks to CSM campus, bars, 1 block to Library Hole), I've got the place for you. However, if you are looking for a nice place, this is not the place for you. It's about three quarters of a step above the level of "dump." Occupied by college paddlers who know how to have a good time. Located at 12th and Cheyenne, one open room starting April-Mayish. Let me know if you want to check it out.

Sorry, looking for a full step up from a dump. But if anybody has any good leads on a place let me know.

Don't know the price or any specifics, but I've seen a 'For Rent' sign on the door of a place on Maple Street, between 11th and 13th.

Just found a place just north of green mtn. Looks like a decent neighborhood. Just 10 minutes away from golden. Thanks for the heads up though.
