This thread should only concern the issue of Trump performing fellatio on Mojo, not any form of rational political discussion between who is worse, and who we should elect, of which there can really be no debate, Kinky Friedman!

Fair enough. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

I think I will skip that performance but it will no doubt make it to YouTube. With all of those naked Trump statues popping up around the country I am sure such a satirical act is in the making.

I was going to stay above the political fray, but at least now we're talking about someone who is eloquent and can write songs. That said, however, with Friedman having at least, run for an elected office previously, wouldn't that make him more of a "politician" than the other two major party candidates?

At least if he's going to be "politically incorrect," he has some wit to it.

#1. Hillary is being installed. Why else would they put an unelectable buffoon against her. They know she is status quo and will perpetuate the corpocracy.
#2. Trump doesn't want to be president he just got in because he wanted to promote his brand. Now he is stuck and can't get out. So he is saying a bunch of stupid shit to offend everyone to be sure he doesn't get elected.

Hillary will win in a landslide. Like it or not.

Hillary is forced to bow out because of health issues. (Meds don't work during a debate.) Biden makes it on only a few states ballots and is the preferred write in for Dems.

Sanders jumps in too.

Trump drops an idiot move every other day, (he needs to be on meds), and Republicans put together a write in ticket of Ryan/Romney.

No candidate receives a majority of electoral college votes.

There is also a landslide for none of the above possibility.

Quote:
If no presidential candidate obtains a majority of the electoral votes, the decision is deferred to the U.S. Congress. The House of Representatives selects the president, choosing among the top three candidates, and the Senate selects the vice president, choosing between the top two candidates.
Ryan/_______ could be it.

========

BTW.
States like Oregon don't allow for a write in VP.
Getting write ins for Prez in every state isn't a given either.

I'm thinking a February Oath of Office.

That said, he would remind everyone to keep in mind that the media is taking sides in this election and before anyone is influenced by some revelation, they check the source carefully.

Case in point;
Trump supposedly encouraged Russia to hack Hilary's e Mails. Not what he said at all; he said release the e Mails you already hacked.
And, when he supposedly said 2nd amendment folks should get violent if Hilary was elected; didn't say or even infer that at all.
And, when he supposedly exhibited his displeasure over a crying baby at one of his rallies; not.

The same applies to Hilary media "revelations".
Benghazi is old news; let it go
The e Mail scandal has been resolved by the FBI and justice; let it go

Try to be objective in your decision making process; then vote your conscious.

Shutzie spins as much as the media he critiques

Quote:
Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing
Not close to what you summarize. The emails are still actively missing in his comment and it would take an active hacking of private American property to find them. He clearly encourages this form of activity ("I hope"). No spin, completely clear intent from the phrasing.

Quote:
. Hillary wants to abolish -- essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know
Lots to infer about violence there b/c of the way he stated his ideas. He created a hypothetical situation in which Clinton is already President and nominated SCOTUS. His hypothetical situation eliminates most other options other than violence. The only defense on this one is his tendency for disjointed, incoherent and downright hypocritical speeches. But that is not a valid excuse.

His perchance for violent rhetoric is well documented (not spin when the quotes are clear):

All the times Trump has called for violence at his rallies

It's one thing for a drunk person at a bar to make flippant remarks about fighting, it's another when it's a presidential candidate who does it time and time again.

Back to the OP's video....Trump is in over his "head" and he has become a caricature. It's political porn at its worst.

Displeasure at crying baby, very real. The ejection headlines were false (and sadly common). Even right wing media admits that nuance and constructively criticizes his tone and actual comments:

[QUOTE].

The baby was one row in front of me, three or four rows from the stage, at Trump’s event at a high school in Ashburn, Va. When it began to cry, Trump said, “Don’t worry about that baby, I love babies. I love babies. I hear that baby crying, I like it. I like it. What a baby, what a beautiful baby. Don’t worry, don’t worry. The mom’s running around — don’t worry about it.”

People applauded. One minute later, though, the baby began to cry again. This time, the mother quickly decided to take the baby out of the room. Trump, looking in our direction, appeared to notice that she was on her way to the exit.

And then he said, “Actually, I was only kidding. You can get the baby out of here. That’s all right. Don’t worry. I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking?” He cupped his hand over his eyes to watch her leave. “That’s okay, people don’t understand. That’s okay.”

A joke? Possibly. An insensitive, heartless, ordinary-person-embarrassing remark? Possibly. Trump’s tone is eternally hard to read. But, to my eyes, it certainly was not an ejection — it was an unusually barbed endorsement of the mother’s own decision to depart.

One other salient fact is missing from all the pieces on babygate. Mom and baby, very much not kicked out, came back to their seat a bit later.

The baby was sucking a pacifier, silent./QUOTE]

Yeah, there is spin on both sides of the media. But there is also a clear, well-documented record of his statements that paints a picture not too far from the one much of the media presents. I have never seen such a candidate, heard such extreme rhetoric from one or seen the overwhelming evidence of racism, sexism and hate his candidacy embraces. And as an independent I see no benefit to the equivocation many are condoning. I could care less if people find reason to vote for him, all for voting one's conscience, but trying to obfuscate his clearly damaging rhetoric is an entirely different matter.

It's like Rump's comments occur so often that they've become the norm, and we the public are supposed to accept that they're all some kind of joke. This isn't a crappy stand up tour. This is the race for the most senior position in our government. If he can't address crowds of his backers in a mature manor, what makes you think he'll act any differently when in a room with leaders of other countries? There are so many what if's in life, but good GAWD he's got some awful ones coming if he wins.

But I'm also not some super Clinton backer. She's shady no question. But she's the lessor evil in my opinion.
