It was stated that she fired the librarian over the removal of books but backed off due to the response. Ok, so it gives the appearance that she wanted to ban books but didnt. Then definitely lets make her the next vp.
Four days before the exchange with the librarian, Ms Emmons, at the City Council meeting, the librarian got a letter from Palin asking for her resignation. Similar letters went to police chief Irl Stambaugh, public works director Jack Felton and finance director Duane Dvorak. John Cooper, a fifth director, resigned after Palin eliminated his job overseeing the city museum.
There was a new Sheriff in town and she wanted all new people who supported her and her policies. Ms. Emmons had PUBLICLY supported Palins opponet in the recent election.
