Don't forget to have a special place for the Chunderboy posts and the wanna be Chunder Posse. I won't even try to understand Chunderboy(RIP) as I didn't understand his urban speak and the art of his modernized Hunter S. Thompson-esque adventures, be it real or fantasy.

Howlie, that's hilarious. How about one for NAMBLA members-Nancy Pelosi could get the honorary first post.

off-season sports and the betty buzz seem like good ideas and should keep on going, for sure...

i agree (and disagree.) keep the betty buzz, keep the off-season sports, and even keep the safety forum, but get rid of the other "stuff"!

just my 2 cents.

Yeah, Matt, I figured you'd be psyched to keep the Bettys around. Speaking of, I've got some bach'ette photos to get to you & Hobie. Will email 'em.

Let me know when yer ready to start the bring back The TG campaign. I'll make a poster or picket sign or something...

&d, you would.

Where is the BSOE, you ask? Has he sought amnesty in the hallowed halls of Graceland? No. He was banned from the compound long ago for his "false claims" of the throne. The Vatican? Holy water boils when I get too close. Canada, perhaps? Nope. Not the Canada it used to be. Times change and so do extradition laws. Perhaps the Bastard headed south to Argentina or Chile, to ski the steeps of Patagonia and cohabitate with the last surviving Nazi war criminals? Wrong again. Can't stand the old man smell.

No, I spend my time these days at a fantastic, four star US Military resort known as Camp Buering, Kuwait. A holding pen for most of the troops going to and from Iraq. The days are long and so are the lines...for everything. Food, phones, internet, store...hell, you better plan your shits because you're gonna wait a few minutes for a portajohnny. Home is an air conditioned (thank god) circus tent that I share with 70 plus other dudes. The mercury usually tops 100F and laundry and shower facilities are limited, so you get that nice, Phish show aroma. No, not that enjoyable one. The sweet, nostril burning aroma of raw people. Arm pits and crotches, baby. Be all that you can be.

So, after a few weeks here most people can't wait to get to Baghdad. It becomes a philosophical question of how willing are you to brave mortars falling from the sky, road side bombs and sniper fire to re-attain a little humanity. Some privacy. A comfortable place to shit.

Ten guys died in Baghdad Tuesday bringing the total for October to 69, puting it on pace to be the bloodiest month since Jan 05. When asked if this would change the shrub's mind about his plans Tony Snow responded "No, his strategy is to win." I didn't realize that was a strategy.

So, morale is low but I won't let the bastards grind me down. I'll check in from time to time. I hear the snow is falling and Abasin opened up their perennial one green run to kick off the shoulder to shoulder resort season. Good times. Be safe in the BC and may Ullr be generous and Allah be merciful.

Peace...um..I mean War.

I hope in the future Americans are thought of as a warlike, vicious people, because I bet a lot of high schools would pick "Americans" as their mascot. -Jack Handy

I too think there are WAY too many forums for the traffic this place gets. I'm not saying it should have been just like before, I'm not scared of change (HOLD ME! ) but this site just doesn't seem to ever get enough traffic to warrant as many forums as there are. JMHO, of course.

I think the biggest pain of the new forums is that it is difficult to jump between them. Ah, I just noticed the "Forums" button at the top gives you a short cut.

It may also be nice to have another forum to include all the post from the other forums.

I'm not sure the "Paddle Parks" forum is necessary. And I wonder if we really need the "Safety Alerts" forum is needed. I never check it since it only has a post once a month.
