Apparently you see no problem with this.
Where does the bulk of that budget deficit come from again?

However, it's really get a sense of how we even got to the point of transition unless we get a look at the pre-2009 trajectory (flipped, but I'm sure you can get it if you stare hard enough):

Apparently you have no idea.

We are all in deep Doo-Doo

The polarization of the two party system is bogus = Donkey & the Elephant. (Neither party is mine, not the donkey nor the elephant.... Chuck D, Public Enemy) That is, team Red vs. team Blue.... how ridiculous. By polarizing the system into two categories, nothing is accomplished, except for setting people up to pick a side, whether it is plausible or not. Like cattle getting herded into two gates. A coalition based approach is slightly better, since it removes the "this or that" constraints and allows you to think a little more outside of the box. Problem with the current system is the "Career Politicians."; These people work for themselves and no longer for the people for which they supposedly speak... their own pocketbooks count more than the constituents' needs, sad to say. Where does that leave the voter? With a computerized and easily corrupted system our votes no longer count. Notice how exit polls in this country no longer match the actual results (for statiticians and mathematically aware folks, WARNING!) Having followed Matt Taibbi's commentary for years, he is dead-on with his exposes of the corruption within the bankers, government and the FED. I'm surprised he is still alive. Turns out he is on "Team People" (Joe Rogans' phrase... love you Joe!) Go Matt, and get yourself some bodyguards please. dirk-o-rama
