I blame Fort Collins

So Fort Collins, the poudre is pretty awesome and I'm harnessing my paddle skills on it, all is going well. Hit up a play park yesterday and realized, compared to my river running skills, my play is scrappy at best. I kindly ask, as so many others have before me, BUILD A PLAY PARK!

Ya know I have been told many times by Ft Collins area boaters that playboating is gay (direct quote for the PC folks out there) and that there is no reason even to own a playboat...

Many times I have said that the waves are much more fun to surf rather than to just plow through but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears... Yea surfin the #'s up at 4000 cfs was no fun at all...

I sure hope you boys do get in a spot one of these years and while you are waitin for the big south gate to open up - feel free to come up here to BV and round out your boating skill set. Our features are just amazing right now.

I'm guessing those people probably just have no play skills and are too lazy to practice. Ill be hittin up the BV park in the next few weeks, that park is great. As for Big South, I've got to get a bit more river miles under my belt before I hop on that section.
