If we are not counting senatorial experience as executive experience, many, many presidents had next to no experience. Lincoln and JFK are just two examples. I wasn't meaning to insult family buisinesses. The reality with Bush is that he didn't actually contribute to the construction of the buisiness, and was essentially given a free ride by his family. Obama got to where he is based upon his intellect and talent. Those are two very, very different things.
On a side note, what were we thinking when we elected as president a man who used to be a high school cheerleader but who is also strongly opposed to many gay rights measures. Watching him conduct foreign policy has been like watching a three year old put his hand into the garbage disposal.
