Spokane is kinda weird. There is good play on the spokie from sept to july. The most popular are sullivan, climax, deaddog, corbin, and trail park. There have been plans of a whitewater park but that wont happen any time soon. They have been fighting over the details for 8 years now. There are two different class 2/3 runs in town. Nothing special. We are 2 hours from the clark fork and its ok at best. Up north is the pack and kootenai. lots of beginner run all over the place. Just not much 4 and above unless you drive 4 hours. Good luck on finding work. Idaho has a lower min wage so most jobs are in Idaho at low wages. If your in the medical field you stand a chance of finding a job. Rent/home prices are crazy up here. I don't know how they charge what they do. Believe or not we get a ton of sh!tty days. It rained almost every day this year until july. There is nowhere to "get away from the people" all the mountains become an ant farm on the weekends. So, if your good with crowds, mild whitewater, 3 months of bad skiing, and a shitty job that wont pay the rent, come on up!
