And word around the campfire is that you're not even a boater. I hear you got booted off a rollerblader's forum: I found this pic under "Trout Bobber RLRBLDR 4EVA"

You look mahvelous, BTW.

why is it that everytime the whole democrat vs republican, coservative vs liberal debate starts it turns into a "your stupid because you dont read the books that i do" debate. (remember when the studies were released that connected SAT scores with red states... or something of that nature) I learn alot when i read your debates but i get so pissed off when you guys attack each other. If you have something to say then say it. If you want to be heard then say it respectfully... even if the other guy started the debate disrepectfully. Honestly I think that a truely intelegent person should be able to make their case without having to belittle another person.

I have little hope that way I feel will make any difference in how you guys debate. I guess i just wanted to get it off of my chest.

Again with the sodomy sugestions from the left wing-nuts! What you do on your own safety breaks are your own business.

No thanks, I may be fat, but I ain't Fat Bobby.

Manuel, I respect your service, I respect Bush's National Guard service, I eveb respect JK's Navy service in 'Nam, what I do not respect is John Kerry getting on TV as far back as 1971 and trashing the American Soldier in his "Winter Soldier" media event. His comments of late and those from 35 years ago simply demonstrate that he is an elitist with nothing but contempt for those serving in uniform.

Who's that?

Elliott Abrams - Sought deferment for bad back.
Richard Armey - Sought college deferment, too smart to die.
Bill Bennett - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die.
Pat Buchanan - Sought deferment for bad knee.
George W. Bush Daddy got him in the National Guard
Dick Cheney - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die. "Other priorities"
Tom DeLay - - Sought college deferment, too smart to die.
Newt Gingrich - Sought graduate school deferment, too smart to die.
Phil Gramm - Sought marriage deferment, too loved to die.
Jack Kemp - Sought medical deferment while in the NFL.
Rush Limbaugh - Sought deferment for ingrown hair follicle on his ass.
Trent Lott - Sought deferment, didn't want to muss his hair.
P.J. O'Rourke - Sought deferment, too stoned.
Dan Quayle - Family got him into the Reserves.
Pat Robertson - Father pulled him out of Korea as soon as the shooting began.
Kenneth Starr Sought deferment for psoriasis.

So Bobber, what's your service record? Have you served in Iraq and gladly taken the stop-losses? If so, you make speak freely. If not, I'm certain that Atlanta has many, many recruiting centers; and you can show us your bravery and dedication to Bush's war management policies. Request a Baghdad patrol- my buddy Tim was an Army ER doc there for two years & I'm sure they'll take care of you (until you get back to a VA hostpital, where Bush has stripped funding during a war.

Personally, I think the way the Neo-cons including yourself) are relentlessly spinning this as a slam on the troops is absolutely reprehensible. You guys know what he meant, and you are using the troops AGAIN to make political hay. It's cowardly.

Well, I only lasted a year in one of the service academies about 22 years ago. They finally REALLY tested me for color blindness and I failed, had rigged/figured out a few Color tests to get in but they finally busted me.

So if I am a coward for not trying hard enough to cover up my own handicap, then so be it. And I am too old to enlist now.

Where have you been, and what have you done there, that makes you so wise in the ways of the world and politics, and who the river wants around, or who respects the river, or what fills sensible people's mind?
