Why not just let the chimo convicts start a religion and rape little kids same fucking thing. they are all brainwashed to thinking thats how life is. i feel so bad for these kids....

warren jeff deserves the worlds worst punishment. he needs to have his eye balls plucked by eagles and his beating cold heart ripped from his chest as he gasps for air crying out like a little b**ch.

Read Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer- I just started it and am appalled at the level of abuse in the FLDS- it goes far beyond this article. Honestly, the stories here make The Hills Have Eyes look tame. Rulon Jeffs (Warren's dad) makes his son look like Mr. Rogers.

Its a very scary read but a good book.

From the article...
Quote:
In Lalich's view, the distinction between a legitimate sect and a cult is simple: It depends on what or whom you worship.

"In a healthy or legitimate religion or sect, you are presumably worshiping some higher principle or some higher authority," Lalich said, "whereas in a cult people tend to end up worshipping that living human leader."
This is a very interesting way to break it down.

I 3rd that on the book, excellent read though scary considering the LDS is still growing and does nothing to try stop the sects that break off and abuse their followers- other than point out the FLDS is NOT approved of by LDS.

more info on these crazy people

A dark history repeats for religious sect - CNN.com

to me it seems like they represent what the original lds was like before they were forced to modify their practices to become part of the union.

Probably the most disturbing book I have read. Very hard to get through, but glad I did.

I met some Hildale/Colorado City locals last fall. Couple of girls in their late teens. Real nice people in a Mayberry way, said they really liked growing up in the community, having a large family was fantastic. They were very friendly showed me around a cool grotto with a spring. Only time I really enjoyed meeting somebody on a hike.

The town is weird for sure, looks like a development of huge high $$ houses until you get close then it is just huge houses with painted plywood walls and cinder block fences.

They're not all sickos (by our standards).
