Hey now, be nice. It's not that i'm such a diehard fan, but i'm just not a fan of Dale's or any other fancy beers in a can. Though it's not my favorite, I do enjoy Fat Tire. Sorry I missed the discussion back in mid-June...I just started reading all of these Mountain Buzz posts in the past week or so...used to just search the classifieds and then leave the website. From now on, I'll be sure to read every damn post, however, because I would hate to post a message about something people already know about. Seems it is terribly offensive to some (you)

I rather enjoyed my Fat Tire In A Can this weekend. FTIAC tasted better than I remember it tasting from the bottle. Maybe it was fresher? Maybe it's cuz I was sipping it with my feet in the water, a fly rod in my hand, a lil brown fish on the sharp end and no fear of beer bottle breakage.

I had no idea it was in cans....and I am a huge Fat Tire fan...or at least I though I was. I even have friends who have worked there from the start. The good old days of Fort Fun, when we went to a house basement to get a keg. This is very sweet...be able to enjoy a Fat Tire can on the river...after kayaking of course.

So Fine (oooh-waa!)

I've tried all manner of upmarket canned rio beers (Dale's, Modelo, Fosters, Urquell, Newcastle Brown) and, having sampled my first Fat Tire from a can, followed by a second, third, etc., rate it Numero Uno.

Although if Speight's Old Dark (NZ) ever comes on the US market in cans, I'll switch my allegiance in a second. Kiwi beer is amazing!

Hi Dan,
Just read your post today. In the clutter of posts about the poor guy who died on the Upper Colorado, I must have missed it. Anyways, thanks for your reply...I enjoyed reading it. I think if someone from New Belgium read it, they might steal your words for a Fat Tire commercial. I, too, have had a magical moment or two with that pretty little can. By the way, I looked at your profile and saw that you have an H3...how do you like it?

Hey Maren,

When are you going to come down and visit Celene, Teddy, and me? Hope your studying is going well. Just wanted to let you know that you and Doug are always welcome and have a place to stay in Durango.
