Mike- you jumped to the wrong conclusion. I was not indicating that the students are "at-risk" because of their Republican background. They are at risk because they are economically disadvantaged.
I was saying that it's strange (stupid) that their families are Republican, because the GOP doesn't care about the lower and middle classes.
I do not know if you were at risk or not; I do know that if you grew up as poor as you say, then you have bought into one of the biggest scams of all- that is to believe that you have the same opportunity to succeed as someone like Kevintee or someone who comes from money.
