Dog friendly trails in the Moab/SE Utah area...

Thinking of bringing my dog with my to Moab for a few days, but want to make sure that there are some places I can bring her hiking while in the area.

Seen leashed at Corona and on trails in Arches. NPS websites prolly show regs. Some places a leash can be for dog safety as well cuz of terrain.

Dogs are not allowed on any trails in Arches.
Pets - Arches National Park

There are plenty of good hikes outside the park, basically everywhere else. Many require leashes. My biggest problem has been that her paws overheat on the rocks and sand. If your going in the hot weather, bring some sort of booties or mushers wax.
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

My dogs favorite desert hikes all have one common theme. Water.
1.) Negro bill canyon is a tributary of the colorado river 3 miles northeast of moab, hosts a perennial stream and the impressive morning glory bridge.
2.) mill creek canyon, located just east of Moab. Is a gateway zone to the la sal mountains which harbors many natural delights.
More ideas...Pritchett or hunters canyons, Klondike bluffs, fisher towers, corona Arch(entire Trail is on slickrock), conehead valley, canyon rims recreation area(aka poormans canyonlands n.p.) and just outside needles district indian creek, davis and lavender canyons.
