Our 13yo chocolate lab gets glucosamine twice a day with meals, and it seems to help her a lot, especially climbing stairs/getting up/down.
Glucosamine, chinese herbs, acupuncture, rimadyl and tramadol. He has it pretty bad.

our wolf hybrid pup is 4 yrs now and hasn't slowed a bit at the super swamp donkey skuttle, she rips around as fast as possible in the creek or shallows splashing everything possible- especially the old grumpy types She never gets cold and rarely pants, I've been skiing in winter and she'll find some open water- it's on!
