Costa Rica and electricity

I have been lucky to boat in Costa Rica several times.
A small country with no standing army and a gem of a boating vacation.

I saw this heading in a posting on the Accuweather site.

Costa Rica Uses Only Renewable Energy for the First 75 Days of 2015 in a Cost-Cutting Initiative

Could be this small nation to our South is doing good things when it comes to National Energy needs.
