Probably about 25 ft... but a really marginal landing and a lot of spruce deadfall. Probably more certain death than going over the falls!

I had to run to town for a coupla hours. Came back and the baldie is still perched up the spruce looking for trout. The river ice has melted and the troutskis are dinner. Hope I can get a shot of the dive/grab. Be some consolation for my fish pals getting eaten...
