Shizzle is exactly right. Take left when just entering bailey and pass Farmer Union, follow the road a vear left when you see wooden sign for Wellington Lake. Follow this for several miles past a couple of ranches and stay left. You will pass a Buffalo Creek bike trail and another 1/2 mile an big gate is up due to fire several years ago. Stop here and hike down is another hour, hike back up is a bitch, especially hung over with no water after camping on the river. You'll go through a quaint little ghost town called Crosson and can hike river left about half way up to Farmer Union.
Does anyone no the opposite access from Burland Ranch? I've cars down on the river but never figured out where or whether it is private. Great camping at Deer Creek Rapid if you're willing to hike.
