I missed the first 1/3 of this but watched the rest. Extremely interesting and sad. I think the thing that struck me most was that maybe Bush isnt as evil as I thought, instead he is just stupid. I got the impression from watching this that Bush is a puppet for Cheney and Rumsfeld and they just played him. He was just too stupid to see what was going on or maybe just didnt care. Catch a repeat of this if you can.

I could tell you Bush isn't evil and sinister. He's inflexible, myopic. Dumb.
Cheney, I absolutely believe is freakin evil.

I too could not decide if bush was evil or dumb or somewhere in between. this should answer it for me - but I think he is insane - really - in a clinical sense.

I dont know anymore if it is really about oil. It seems to be more about war profiteering to me. Halliburton for one.
I started thinking back to how much Cheney was on TV back then. Everyday. Now its like the guy is dead. Its kinda odd.

Didn't hear anything of Haliburton, KBR, Blackwater, etc. either. I don't think the documentary went into the "Why" of what happened at all. Just a lot of what happened. Not saying it was a bad documentary, just a cautious one.

CM, I think you should check your history on that one if you think the muslims cornered the market on holy wars. I would go so far as to say that none of the holy wars or warriors were actually very holy. The christians have done their fair share of killing as well.

there were christian cruesades but, you are acting like we are in one right now?

i said anybody for jihad or the killing of infidels are worse than all listed above. if we don't stop them and form some resistance to the terrorist networks in middle east they will grow, and they will attack!

its been stated by more countries than ours that a withdrawl would be a huge mistake.
