"We aren't allowed to have whistles."

Have you asked? I think whistles in the workplace are very appropriate. I work in finance and keep mine around my neck at all times!

Ranch Lady?

Braznut you should have just waited for the ranch lady and she would have sorted everything out. Then finally you would have achieved great success. You should have been feeding her Schlitz as well.

Hmm, you might be right. I work at a University, which is almost like a playground, I could just pretend I am a playground monitor at these meetings and blow my whistle when people get out of line. He!! with contractors, it IS just like a playground, always playing games! I could call it my bull sh!t whistle, when it gets too thick, I just wail on it!

Last time I was in Mexico all the guys out on the street promoting the clubs were all blowing their whistles. They sure were surprised when I blew mine back!

Oh come on, we're WAAAAAY far away from her original post. Now we're just making absolutely stupid jokes to help get through work. As recent grand canyon boatwoman, I need all the help I can get to deal with work.

I'm gonna go blow my whistle by myself if I have to!
