Hey Southern man,
Please explain to me why, if you oppose war,you automatically hate America. Because that's one of the most bullshit things you could say. It takes a pretty warped mind to think that "war" and "loving America" always has to be in the same sentence.
I oppose war and I love America and I totally support our troops, I just think the current leadership is lacking direction that is good for Americans, or should I say poor and middle class Americans. When I see our boys and girls dieing every day for a war that was built on lies, it just makes me sick.

Yeah, guess you are right, it was built on lies. Bush should have known better than to rely on intel gathered from the previous adminsitration. An administration that did not rely on agents in the field but on high tech, whiz bang stuff, but no real human intel.

Bush was stoopid fer beliving anything that the Clinton administration had found regarding WMD and Saddam, which was rather a lot.

To support the troops and not support the war is to give aid and comfort to the enemy. The al-jeezera's al-quida's of the world feed off that stuff.

Hell, I hate to see our troops in harms way, but win this thing, support our troops and our President's efforts to keep us safe; don't protest the war and give our enemies fuel for their propaganda machine which inflames more uprisings.

I see strong parallels between Trout_Bobber's logic and the logic Hitler used to gain power and take his country to war in the 1930's. If protesting war means you are anti-american, why don't we make it illegal and create a police force to find people who are not loyal?

Hilter only won one election in 1932 and that was with 41% of the vote since there were three candidates. He got the rest of his power by manipulating the system and playing the patriotic card strongly.

I think we should just ignore Trout_Bobber. He's not thinking straight. His posts make it harder to have a more sensible political discussions.
