Heineken Mini Keg

Nothing that special about the beer, but you can fit two of their new mini kegs in the back of a Mega rocker. The beer...EH, but the wow factor is huge.

I still contend that it's not the beer itself, but being on the river that makes the beer good. I've never had a bad river beer.

i knew it wouldn't be long before lsb got in this one. how did i know what you would say too? anywhere else diet coors is the nastiest beer known to man, but floating in a hot desert transforms that shit into liquid gold! too many ska esb's and you can't set up camp.

I know someone else already mentioned LiquorMart in Boulder, but just to add to that - they have between 25 -30 different kinds of good beer in cans, that's not counting the standards - PBR, Bud, Busch, Coor-lorado piss water etc.

Very good to know, especially if doing the GC, 18 days (give or take) with just the american shwag, gets old. It's great to have a wide variety!

Cheap but GOOD beer location

This seems related to the topic at hand..... You're welcome.

Cheap but GOOD beer location

The cheap beer place has raised their prices.
$15 case import
$10 case domestic bottles 24/20 pack
$10 30-pack domestic cans
$8 case domestic cans
Other specials vary depending on what is available (i.e. last Saturday was two cases of Boddingtons for $15!). Opens at 8, get there at 7:30AM, and don't go the weekened before a holiday. Also, bring a hand cart and a friend, otherwise you'll be carrying all your beer out, and the friend can guard your stash as you hunt for more beverage. It's a cash-only sale.
DIRECTIONS: I-25 to I-70 East. Head EAST on I-70 to the Dahlia EXIT. Go NORTH on Dahlia to 51st. Turn into the parking lot of Western Distribution.
Additional note:
They only sell beer in bottles or cans (i.e., no kegs) to the public on Saturdays between 8 am and noon in a “scratch and dent” sale. Otherwise, you must have and show a liquor license to purchase beer from them. Phone (303) 388-5755. Address 4545 E. 51st Ave., Denver.

Southern Wine & Spirits, 5270 Fox St., Denver, 80217, (303) 298-8810, sells discount wine and liquor, but not beer. They split off from Western Distributing two years ago.
