Anyone fly fish?

Hey, I do not know how many anglers that tie there own bugs are on Mountain Buzz, but I thought I would let you know of a website I found. The website is a public forum that allows people to share there patterns. Anyway, check it out if you want http://www.flyrecipes.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1

Has anyone fished below Button Rock Resevoir?

Nice website. I haven't tied my stuff in years but am thinking about getting back into it.
I have fished below Buttonrock but haven't been there in a couple of years. It's ok but can get crowded during weekends.
If you are willing to hike, try above buttonrock...or get the permit to fish the reservoir (good in october).

I fished above Button Rock reservoir last weekend and had a good time. I was fishing around “Wild Basin station” (I think that is right). A lot of small, small fish, but at least I was catching fish.
Has anyone fished the Lower Blue lately? If so, would anyone mind showing someone where to go, I would be willing to go (I can bring cold beer). You will not need to guide me, I can fish, I am just looking for a little local knowledge.

fishing the lower blue

I know of two access points on the lower blue above Blue valley acres, and I like beer. I haven't seen the flows as of late but if there down enough to wade there are some nice fish down there. I would fish some dry dropper sets like a stimi and prince or something like that. The blue between Dillon and green mountian has been seeing multiple hatches of caddis, pmd's, rusty duns, and a sporatic big brownish drakes.

I fly fish just about every weekend

tmcilravy, I have a blue river map and still can't find those dang lower access points!! I'm determined to float the lower blue in my kickboat though, just need to find some pics of those drop structures to make sure I can do them.
