I was confused and didn't even try going to his website because he said it was not going to be launched until spring. I suspect poor communication skills don't translate into comprehensive web design.

Well he contacted me, and ask a specific question about hand paddles. I responded. Not sure if it is scam. Seems like a weird way to scam people.

I got the PM and I looked at the website. It appears to be a combination of EddyFlower or SWPaddler, Facebook, and the Buzz. At this point it is difficult to navigate and seems to have an overabundance of information. It might be useful in the future. I think the goal might be to group people based on their local watersheds like Facebook groups and raise awareness.

I just posted a link to this thread on their facebook page suggesting they get over here and do a little damage control.
On the river, I can abandon who I am and what I've done. However brief it lasts, while on the river I am nothing important and everything insignificant. I am flotsam, and happy to be so.

What a hoot of a thread

I know this guy...
This makes me sad.

Creeklife's website doesn't suck, but Ryan's guerrilla tactics do.
Sorry for all that PM spamming in 2012, that was indirectly my fault. I saw this link and had to stick up for my site.
- Have a great spring!!
