Then again... a certain bizarre sect of Mormons in Texas had all children in the facility (i.e. 'compound') seized 'for their own protection.' Nary a shot fired, and interesting due process all around... The Davidians may not have won, but Americans , like myself who believe the right to arm themself with any modern weapon is an inalienable right beholden to any sentient, free being, most certainly did.
History has a long view, Demos. I would expect someone with a Greek moniker to be vigilant to that.
I turned on Bush and the Republican party over economics. I turned on Clinton and the entire non-violent left when the Brady Bill was passed. I'll abandon Obama just as quickly, and more fociferously, if he ever constrains gun rights the way Clinton did.
