Wind readings?

Can anyine direct me to a site that has wind speed readings? THe resorts don't brag about wind speeds for obvious financial reasons, but I would like to be able to find out how windy it is before dragging the family out to be blown off the mountain. My 4 year old doesn't mind but his aunts and grandparents tend to whine about it, although they are smart enough not do do so in front of the kid.

Thouth we know that some areas tend to be windier than others, you've raised a good question - I'll be interested in what you find out.

I suspect its likely that some areas are just typically windier than others (Breck, Eldora, A-Basin) and that you'll have to find the ones that are just less wind-prone.
