There are all these public safety guys in black at Beaver Creek. They all just stand around, 5 or 6 of them hanging out around the little fireplace thing shooting the shit, smoking, pacing around, reading, etc. I know they have the key that turns the escalators back on, but I'm not sure what else they do.

Brenden, loved the story about the lift Nazi. I had one once make a buddy take a "time out" for 30 secs because he ducked the rope in an empty maze to join up with us to ride up.... In a few months, he'll get a $1000 fine for that, right?!

If you're worried about your board(s) being ganked, lock them up when you go in for a brew. And if somebody starts shit then put up your dukes. Leave the cops in town or hiding on the side of the highway where they belong. There are some people who enjoy their resort outing with a little herbal accompanyment and Johnny Law don't approve.
