Is this forum for backcountry skiers only or can I plan trips to the resorts. I have a Colorado pass and a truck. I was wondering if anyone is interested in splitting gas up there?

I am a weekend warior with a full time job. If you don't mind lines we could go up on weekends. I am going to A-basin for a few hours this weekend, well Saturday, in case anyone wants to go. I figure we can get a few turns in and then call it a day. The lines will be long and the snow scarce. This would be a good chance to save 10 bucks. I also can take one more if they don't mind riding in an extended cab w/o a seat belt. I would have posted this on the trip planner but it's all kayak trips. Looking down the posts, there are references to a new chairlift, ski passes, and a resort's opening. This forum's for folks that like to slide downhill on frozen water, on one or two boards (tubes too?) and lift-served or not.

Sharpen those edges and have fun at the 'Basin!

As of right now it looks like A-Basin is not opening this weekend. Maybe we'll try this next weekend.
