Hammerhead bindings

I have been riding the '06 Hammerheads for the first time this season and am wondering if anyone else has had problems with the toe piece shredding their boot's duck bill? Additionally I cracked the duck bill on one of my boots, to the point where it looks about ready to fall off. Has anyone had similar problems or know of others with these problems? Thanks
